Strength & Conditioning

Our goal is to build trust through education. The Yale strength and conditioning staff utilizes a variety of methods, including Olympic lifting, power lifts, unilateral training, core training, plyometrics, speed & agility, high-intensity & steady state conditioning, and stability & mobility exercises to accommodate all aspects of the training paradigm. In order to monitor progress, teams take part in strength and power performance testing, along with Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) body composition testing. We also work in team and one-on-one settings to increase nutritional awareness; this includes team lectures, as well as interactive lunches with Coach Mike Harris.
